Which direction do you think ELearning will take? E-Learning heading

Recently, in an interview, I was recently asked where I think the elearning industry is headed in the future.
Though I'm not going to believe that I'm an expert in recent developments in the world of online learning, I know how to spot patterns throughout the time.
The market for e-learning has become huge.
A response to the question about which direction I'm thinking it's headed into isn't easy without having to resort to generalizations.
However, I'm not sure how I can see the e-learning industry developing?
