We've included Apple Pay, Google Pay, global tax support, and more improvements in the checkout process to create a better customer experience - as well as increase sales for you.

Your customers can now use Apple Pay, Google Pay, and iDEAL

We've added support to three new payment methods. If you've got Stripe connected to your account, users can pay now using Apple Pay, Google Pay as well as IDEAL. ( Learn how to connect Stripe directly to the account you have .)

Apple Pay allows users to store details about their payment by authorizing the payment using Touch ID. (Apple Pay is currently accessible to those who have an custom domain  however it will only show for customers that use Safari as their primary browser. We've redesigned the checkout procedure to create a more user-friendly experience. Customers are able to view additional details about their purchase, quickly enter a coupon code, and more - all on one page.

Further details on the product: Now it's crystal transparent what customers are likely to purchase -- whether it's the quantity of lessons within an instructional course or the time of a webinar that's coming up.

Customers also have the option of choosing among plans(community subscription tiers, payment plans, month-to-month vs. annual pricing) from the checkout page. Customers don't need to hunt around for where to enter the discount coupon.

Address collection with structure If you are collecting customer addresses (for tax reporting and other uses ) Now, there's less typing for the customer, and you get standardized data.

The account details are provided upfront.Your customers can create or log in to their account in the middle of their checkout. This step ensures that they don't forget to set up passwords and are able to access your content, community and purchase. If you use embedded checkouts on another site, your embeds will be updated to reflect the latest checkout flow in the embedded modal.

Upsells that are more powerful, flexible, and customizable when you check out.

Upsells can be a powerful method to increase sales. Give your customers an exclusive discount for adding additional items to their purchase.

Let's take an example. For instance, suppose you sell an online course in design. On checkout, you might offer your customers registration for an upcoming live event with a discount. Customers are already purchasing something from you - what is it to offer additional products on sale, too!

Provide more information on the product you're displaying and tailor the copy to the specific offer. You can:

Create a subtitle as well as a title on the page for upsells.

Create a unique name and description for every product.

The dynamically displayed items at the time of check out. (If customers have already bought an item, they don't see it as an upsell offer. You can add as many products as you want to your potential listing of upsells.)
