Tiyana Robinson is Washington DC-based Professional Makeup Artist and Founder of Makeup Mogul University The first business school online specifically designed made for Makeup Artists.
In 2013, after receiving a request from a close friend to make makeup for a special occasion, Tiyana decided to pursue her first passion: makeup art. Since then, her work has taken Washington D.C. (and the world) on a whirlwind! Her makeup is often evident on the runways at New York Fashion Week where she served as the key makeup Artist for the first show at NYFW to have models from shade. She's been featured on television shows like VH1 and Good Morning Washington and has been working with numerous gorgeous brown brides from the DC area and abroad.
In her spare time, when she's not drawing stunning visages Tiyana works in the field of helping Makeup Artists become Makeup MOGULS with her online courses and membership site.
We sat down with Tiyana to discuss her entrepreneurship journey and how she has been able to transform her service-based company into an online school.
