Release Notes October 2023: Updates to Tax Exemptions as well as New Offers API
Offers API Release
We've launched a new Offers API which allows customers to surface upsell, cross-sell additional offers, add-ons and other deals to potential buyers during each customer interaction.
Tax Exemptions Updates Digital Invoicing
Now, users are able to include a tax exemption ID to any quote created in the app and via through the Quotes API. This change applies to all countries that support it and the government collects taxes.
Updated Zip code requirements for North America
In the USA as well as Canada, users will now have to enter zip or postal codes respectively. This enables us to more accurately validate tax exemption numbers at the time when creating quotes. This change applies to both the quotes generated by users as well as quotes generated by users who are end-customers.
Expanded Tax Exemption Support on orders from Japan
Users making sales in Japan are now able to input an JCT tax ID when conducting B2B transactions. They will receive the lowest rate of 0% and report the tax directly under reverse change accounting.
