Klarna & installment plans -
The most frequent concerns that merchants face is the need to provide installment or payment plans for their buyers.
Traditionally, the answer was to take advantage of the flexibility offered by our subscription-based services and reduce the amount of payments. However, while that still offers amazing benefits to both the seller and buyer We felt that there must be an alternative.
Enter Klarna!
We're thrilled to be able to offer Klarna as payment option. Klarna is a method of payment which can provide either one or both of the following payment options:
- Pay Now. It's a quick payment made via the purchaser's Klarna account (similar as how buyers can pay with Paypal to pay to purchase).
- Purchase now, pay later. It is when the customer gets their item now, but pays at a later date (e.g. after thirty days).
- Pay in X. This is a no-interest repayment option that allows the purchaser to opt to pay for the product in three or 4 installments.
- Financing. In certain nations, financing may be an option for customers to purchase your product.
The purchase options Klarna offers to the customer will depend on both your location, as the merchant, and the buyer's location.
If, for instance, you and your buyer are located in the US or Canada, Klarna will be able to offer an installment plan that includes 4 installments that are interest-free.
Another example is if you are both based in the UK or the United Kingdom, you may offer a 'Buy now, pay later' plan where the buyer receives their download links immediately, however they pay in a future date.
High priced products
The installment plan is the best option for higher-priced products such as online coaching courses or other coaching services that could easily cost thousands of dollars.
Being able to offer an affordable and solid installment plan opens up your business to a new customer base.
Payments
Klarna not only Klarna have payment options to increase your market reach However, they also take care of everything related to the payment process for buyers.
This means you don't have to think about collecting buyer's payment or even ensuring that they meet the installment program. Klarna does that for you.
As the seller will receive the full payment immediately on completion of the checkout. Klarna is then in contact with the buyer to collect payments according to the timeframe agreed upon.
A lot more sales and less anxiety! This is a great win for all sellers.
