Our Vice President of People & Culture, Louise Cherry Barber, sat at a table (virtually) to speak with Danica regarding her award and experience working at .

Louise Cherry Barber: Danica, you are Our Springie Award Winner for our 3rd quarter of 2023! Tell me, what does it mean for you to receive the Springie Award here at ?
Danica Larsen:It was really nice to feel really touching knowing that I bring a bit of myself -- my interesting personality in my daily work. And it was nice to see that other people were aware of it and that it was welcomed and appreciated positively that is, in addition to the fact that it was not solely due to achieving a certain number that was previously what I would have identified, or other workplaces I've had, but also for the kind of person I am as well as the achievements that I've achieved in addition to a specific number. It was very nice being recognized for who I am as a person. It was incredibly touching.
Louise Cherry Barber: It's amazing and merited. And one thing I am interested in is for you to discuss your top moments, that is, the ones you heard about. you heard, but particularly working on the project you completed on the benchmarking program has been praised by some individuals. Tell us more about this?
Danica LarsenYes that's right, I've put into my work so hard that I'm really happy to see that being recognized. I'm sure I was slightly surprised find that the benchmarking program is one of the things that was called out in the sense that it's still in its early days of the process, and there's plenty of work to be completed. It's great to see that everyone is thrilled about the initiative. It's going to offer many benefits, I really hope it's going to provide so many benefits, not only for us as a business as well, but also for our buyers, customers too. And we'll help in an ideal world give the company some insight on how we can grow long term, what we're seeing works well in the long run as a successful idea. So seeing that called out already at the first sort of, you know, such as beta stage was exciting, since it indicates that others are seeing the benefits as well.
Louise Cherry Barber: We have recently revised our corporate values to include: Be Different, Seek to Understand and act with urgency. I'm curious about your opinions on these new values.
Danica Larsen: What they encompass is doing the right thing as well as understanding what doing the right thing means. This means investigating, looking deep into it, and then deciding swiftly and making a choice. It's a fact that I stand in that daily... Also, taking a look at other employees who are part of members of the Support Team and the Support Team is a sign they are living the principles with our clients and also with buyers, every day. They're at the forefront in the lead, on the front line searching for understanding, and acting swiftly, as the only way to accomplish these things. When we fall apart as business, no one will be able to continue working with us.
Louise Cherry Barber:What suggestions do you have for those who are in the same situation ? Are you someone who would love to live the values? What suggestions do you have for making those come to life?
Danica Larsen It's only me say that I can only speak from my point of view. The most important factor is to be as attentive as is possible. When you're working with the different accounts, the businesses selling, the customers, anyone whom we're working with being aware of their needs and understanding the reason behind their need, it drives what we should do and how we should act. That's "seeking understanding" that you can't do it without being attentive. That's my first tip: just to listen to people.
