Are online courses required for a certificate? -

Dec 9, 2022

A lot of people are contemplating whether a certification of their training is sensible or if it's silly.

I get it.

However, you must consider that it doesn't matter!

In the end, the idea behind certificates was the first kind of game. Today, we have leadersboards, badges, points and more. Before all these things there were certificates. They are a tangible document that serves to prove that the subject was taught.

Building a Community around Certificates

They go far beyond motivating students, they also can assist in developing a sense.

As an example that continuing education schools have for many years employed certifications as well as CEUs (continuing education units) in order to establish an atmosphere of belonging to their programs and career.

The same applies to universities.

You don't have to possess "official" certificates to be able to use these certificates for building community purposes.

Check out Troy Dean, my friend's WPElevation program. It offers certificates and is just one way he creates his network. His students reguarly print-off their certificates as they are content with the results.

Furthermore, you can utilize certificates to efficiently sell your course again with the expiration date. It's a good way to make sure that students come back to take more courses throughout the year. If you run a business that sells courses, then this plan is a great way to boost the profit margin of your business.

In case you're thinking whether you should use certificates to run your own program, then I recommend you to do so.

While you may feel silly at first you will realize the effects they have on your learning program. influence on the learning programs you are in.
