"You'll often hear me repeat variations of this phrase while I teach: we go from big to small -meaning larger brush to smaller brush, loose to tight, light to dark. It's key to begin with joy and excitement and a loose strategy before allowing the piece to speak and guide you to where it would like you to go."
Watercolor painting tips:
- From big to small brush
- Go between tight and loose moves
- From lighter to darker colors

My story
"I was that quiet girl at the middle of the class, nose deep in a sketchbook. There hasn't been much change since. At one point I had burned out on my creativity, but becoming a mom called me back to watercolor painting. I rediscovered myself by combining art with my religious practice. I created "Watercolor Devo's." They inspired me to begin becoming a creative instructor and a full time artist."

What would you say about your style of watercolor?
"I am unable to resist the fun, bold or pink. A touch of vintage quirk or visual tension is often my goal when I'm drawing. But most of all I love bringing the very best in watercolor onto the canvas, with vibrant bleedings in bold colors."
